Many motorcycle riders dream of riding off to distant horizons in search of adventure.   Some go and do it.  Some even make TV programs about their trips - and I love those.  I became inspired by the example of riders who have answered their ‘inner wanderlust’.  

After years of planning and saving, I'm now setting off for a journey that will take me across continents – first, following the ancient Silk Roads which stretch east from Europe to farthest China. 

Then, for a different perspective, I will ride ‘top to bottom’ from Alaska to Argentina through the contrasting cultures of the north, central and southern Americas.  And finally, health and wealth permitting, can I travel from Cape Town to Cairo, and back into Europe?
